Glorious Place Missions has been supporting orphaned, abused, and enslaved women in Africa for the last 10 years, through a network of trusted family homes.

In order to better serve the greater native population and increase our reentry effectiveness, we are set to complete a fully staffed rescue home on 4 acres of fertile land in Morogoro, Tanzania. This centralized facility will enable our survivors to be better supervised by a dedicated staff, and will offer a wider range of relevant life/work skills for our residents.

Additionally, Glorious Place will make the ongoing operation financially viable through onsite agricultural initiatives.

The Campaign:

This year we are launching our Phase I Capital Campaign in order to complete the structure, fencing, and to furnish the facility. This will house up to 16 women.

Our Campaign Goal by June 1, 2024 is $50,000 USD.

The Center:

This facility will include sleeping rooms, a kitchen, common area, matron living quarters, a vocational center with classrooms, and a clean water source from a well. This will also serve as the ministry headquarters for Glorious Place in Africa.

As we move to Phase II, we will be expanding the facility to house up to 120 women.
